Jos\u00e9 Evaristo Domic\u00f3 Domic\u00f3, joven ind\u00edgena Embera Kat\u00edo del Alto Sin\u00fa, recibi\u00f3 su t\u00edtulo como Administrador en Finanzas y Negocios Internacionales de la Universidad de C\u00f3rdoba, en ceremonia realizada en el Centro de Convenciones de Monter\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El acto acad\u00e9mico fue a\u00fan m\u00e1s significativo porque estuvo acompa\u00f1ado por sus padres, Dobip\u016bm\u00e3 (Luz Neria Domic\u00f3) y Jaidukam\u00e1 (Sim\u00f3n Domic\u00f3 Major\u00e9), quienes lo felicitaron en su lengua nativa y luciendo la vestimenta tradicional de su pueblo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jos\u00e9, cuarto de quince hermanos y primero en alcanzar un t\u00edtulo profesional, relat\u00f3 la exigente ruta que recorri\u00f3 para llegar a este momento. \u201cHoy, gracias a Dios, primeramente, estamos aqu\u00ed en la ceremonia de grado gracias a todos estos a\u00f1os de esfuerzo, de sacrificio hecho por m\u00ed, pero sobre todo por mis pap\u00e1s tambi\u00e9n, el apoyo que me dieron incondicionalmente. Muy contento en el d\u00eda de hoy\u201d, expres\u00f3 con emoci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Su padre, visiblemente orgulloso, agradeci\u00f3 en su lengua a Dios Caragab\u00ed por los a\u00f1os de sacrificio que hicieron posible este logro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El nuevo profesional no es ajeno al liderazgo. Ha sido coordinador de educaci\u00f3n, secretario general y l\u00edder juvenil en su resguardo; adem\u00e1s, ha fortalecido su formaci\u00f3n con estudios en la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid y su participaci\u00f3n en la ONU en Ginebra, donde expuso la situaci\u00f3n de las comunidades ind\u00edgenas del Alto Sin\u00fa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la ceremonia, en la que se entregaron m\u00e1s de 1.200 t\u00edtulos, tambi\u00e9n se gradu\u00f3 Marciano Domic\u00f3 Rubiano, otro joven Embera Kat\u00edo que recibi\u00f3 el mismo t\u00edtulo de Administrador en Finanzas y Negocios Internacionales, ratificando el compromiso de la Universidad de C\u00f3rdoba con la inclusi\u00f3n y la diversidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al igual que Jos\u00e9 Evaristo y Marciano Domic\u00f3, otros j\u00f3venes de las comunidades ind\u00edgenas tambi\u00e9n han alcanzado el sue\u00f1o de convertirse en profesionales gracias a las oportunidades educativas de la Universidad de C\u00f3rdoba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El rector, Jairo Miguel Torres Oviedo, entreg\u00f3 personalmente el diploma a Jos\u00e9 y resalt\u00f3: \u201cLa Universidad de C\u00f3rdoba se ha afianzado como una instituci\u00f3n abierta a todas las expresiones culturales y sociales. Hoy celebramos la graduaci\u00f3n de Jos\u00e9 Evaristo y de otros miembros de comunidades ind\u00edgenas, afrodescendientes y rurales que han encontrado aqu\u00ed un espacio para transformar sus vidas y las de sus comunidades. Nuestra pol\u00edtica de inclusi\u00f3n es un principio irrenunciable y este logro es la mejor evidencia de que la educaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica genera movilidad social\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con su t\u00edtulo en mano, Jos\u00e9 envi\u00f3 un mensaje a los j\u00f3venes ind\u00edgenas: \u201cInvitarlos a que se animen. Hoy en d\u00eda hay varias oportunidades para formarse acad\u00e9micamente en las universidades. Pero tambi\u00e9n es cuesti\u00f3n de voluntad y de tener las ganas de continuar. Por lo menos hay que dar un paso\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estos logros adem\u00e1s de representar un orgullo personal y familiar, reafirman el impacto de la pol\u00edtica de inclusi\u00f3n de la Universidad, que abre sus puertas a estudiantes provenientes de sectores rurales, comunidades ind\u00edgenas y afrodescendientes, generando movilidad social y transformando realidades.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
