<\/a>El alcalde de Monter\u00eda, Hugo Kerguel\u00e9n Garc\u00eda, ha salido en defensa del decreto que restringe los eventos con ‘pic\u00f3’ en la zona urbana de la ciudad, una medida que, seg\u00fan sus declaraciones, ha generado un debate polarizado pero ya exhibe resultados favorables en la convivencia ciudadana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abHa sido un decreto, por decirlo as\u00ed, de amores y odios. Creo que la ciudadan\u00eda hoy est\u00e1 m\u00e1s tranquila en cada uno de esos barrios, pero nosotros tenemos que buscar ser una ciudad que viva dentro de la sana convivencia\u00bb, afirm\u00f3 el mandatario, subrayando el balance entre las percepciones encontradas y el objetivo de la administraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La decisi\u00f3n de implementar esta restricci\u00f3n se fundament\u00f3 en m\u00e1s de 1.800 quejas por contaminaci\u00f3n auditiva, reportadas a trav\u00e9s de la l\u00ednea de emergencia 123 de la Polic\u00eda Metropolitana. A pesar de la prohibici\u00f3n en \u00e1reas urbanas, la administraci\u00f3n municipal ha procurado ofrecer alternativas al gremio de operadores de ‘pic\u00f3s’, permitiendo la realizaci\u00f3n de estas actividades en zonas periurbanas y otros espacios tradicionalmente destinados para tales eventos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
