M\u00e1s de 200 personas se dieron cita en Pueblo Nuevo para recibir al l\u00edder social y precandidato a la C\u00e1mara de Representantes, Luis Fernando Ballesteros Meza, en un encuentro marcado por el entusiasmo y el compromiso pol\u00edtico de las comunidades campesinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La reuni\u00f3n cont\u00f3 con la presencia de diversas asociaciones rurales que ratificaron su respaldo a Ballesteros. El evento inici\u00f3 con la intervenci\u00f3n del dirigente campesino F\u00e9lix Urango, quien destac\u00f3 la importancia de elegir con responsabilidad a los representantes del pueblo. Invit\u00f3 a los campesinos a despojarse del miedo y a crear conciencia en cada ciudadano sobre la necesidad de defender sus derechos desde el Congreso de la Rep\u00fablica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Posteriormente, tom\u00f3 la palabra el precandidato Luis Fernando Ballesteros, quien afirm\u00f3 que la convocatoria no solo define el futuro de C\u00f3rdoba, sino tambi\u00e9n el de todo el pa\u00eds. \u201cLo que est\u00e1 en juego no es una persona, sino un proyecto pol\u00edtico que hoy se encuentra en cuidados intensivos, porque no contamos con una mayor\u00eda en el Congreso de la Rep\u00fablica\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ballesteros record\u00f3 que el presidente Gustavo Petro anunci\u00f3 recientemente la posibilidad de convocar a una Asamblea Nacional Constituyente, como respuesta al bloqueo sistem\u00e1tico de las reformas por parte del Congreso. \u201cEl pueblo eligi\u00f3 un presidente con visi\u00f3n transformadora, pero la experiencia nos ha demostrado que el verdadero poder est\u00e1 en el Congreso. All\u00ed se deciden las leyes, las reformas constitucionales y hasta los magistrados de la Corte Constitucional, quienes muchas veces han fallado en contra de los cambios que pide la gente\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como ejemplo, mencion\u00f3 la reforma pensional, donde la oposici\u00f3n se neg\u00f3 a reconocer un bono pensional para campesinos y adultos mayores, mientras millones de trabajadores informales siguen sin acceso a seguridad social. Tambi\u00e9n critic\u00f3 la reforma laboral, aprobada de manera incompleta y sin contemplar a la mayor\u00eda de los sectores m\u00e1s vulnerables. \u201cEse es el reflejo de un Congreso que legisla para unos pocos, mientras bloquea los derechos del pueblo\u201d, puntualiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En su intervenci\u00f3n, el precandidato destac\u00f3 la importancia de la reforma agraria, contemplada en los Acuerdos de La Habana. Resalt\u00f3 la voluntad pol\u00edtica del presidente Petro, quien se comprometi\u00f3 a entregar 3 millones de hect\u00e1reas de tierra. No obstante, advirti\u00f3 que las trabas pol\u00edticas han frenado ese proceso. \u201cHasta ahora se han adjudicado unas 648.000 hect\u00e1reas en el pa\u00eds, de las cuales m\u00e1s de 38.000 est\u00e1n en C\u00f3rdoba. Es un avance, pero insuficiente frente a la magnitud del desaf\u00edo\u201d, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalmente, Ballesteros hizo un llamado a la organizaci\u00f3n campesina y a la conciencia ciudadana. \u201cNo se trata de votar por una persona, sino por un ideal\u201d, dijo, recordando que \u201cpor donde pasa la plata, se concentra el poder pol\u00edtico\u201d, raz\u00f3n por la cual es clave empoderar al campesino organizado como eje de transformaci\u00f3n social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El precandidato cerr\u00f3 con una invitaci\u00f3n a la movilizaci\u00f3n del pr\u00f3ximo 26 de octubre, fecha de la consulta del Pacto Hist\u00f3rico. \u201cEse d\u00eda ser\u00e1 el pueblo quien decida qui\u00e9n nos representar\u00e1 en el Congreso.
