En el marco del evento internacional de la Semana de la Biodiversidad en Cali, el alcalde de Monter\u00eda, Hugo Kerguel\u00e9n Garc\u00eda, dio a conocer un paso hist\u00f3rico para garantizar la construcci\u00f3n del Parque Bot\u00e1nico Las Lagunas, el gran pulm\u00f3n verde de la ciudad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En una subasta p\u00fablica con participaci\u00f3n de siete bancos, el municipio logr\u00f3 cerrar con \u00e9xito la operaci\u00f3n financiera que asegura los recursos restantes para esta gran obra de transformaci\u00f3n ambiental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Banco Popular result\u00f3 ganador al presentar una oferta de cr\u00e9dito por $47.143 millones con una tasa altamente competitiva de IBR + Spread, equivalente a un ALL IN COST de 1,84%. Esta cifra representa parte de los $88 mil millones que costar\u00e1 el proyecto en su totalidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la subasta, las siete entidades financieras participantes presentaron propuestas por un valor conjunto superior a $310 mil millones, es decir, 6,6 veces m\u00e1s de lo requerido, lo que demuestra la confianza del sector financiero en la solidez de Monter\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHoy podemos decir que la financiaci\u00f3n del Parque Bot\u00e1nico Las Lagunas est\u00e1 garantizada. Este proyecto recuperar\u00e1 un espacio que antes eran lagunas de oxidaci\u00f3n y lo convertir\u00e1 en un activo ambiental, tur\u00edstico y social para todos los monterianos. Es una obra que le apuesta a la sostenibilidad, al desarrollo urbano ordenado y a la calidad de vida\u201d, expres\u00f3 el alcalde Hugo Kerguel\u00e9n Garc\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Parque de Las Lagunas ser\u00e1 un espacio ic\u00f3nico para Monter\u00eda:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tendr\u00e1 senderos ecol\u00f3gicos, espejos de agua y jardines bot\u00e1nicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incluir\u00e1 corredores verdes, zonas de recreaci\u00f3n y conservaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
