Hugo Kerguel\u00e9n Garc\u00eda, sell\u00f3 un paso decisivo en el proceso de internacionalizaci\u00f3n del Aeropuerto Los Garzones con la entrega oficial del sistema Biomig, una herramienta tecnol\u00f3gica avanzada que permitir\u00e1 optimizar los procedimientos de ingreso y salida de pasajeros en vuelos internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la entrega, el alcalde de Monter\u00eda, Hugo Kerguel\u00e9n Garc\u00eda, destac\u00f3 que este avance es parte de una estrategia integral para posicionar a Monter\u00eda como una ciudad conectada, competitiva y atractiva para la inversi\u00f3n, el turismo y la movilidad internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEl trabajo que hemos venido realizando en materia de turismo de alto valor, con eventos de tipo acad\u00e9mico, deportivo y cultural, est\u00e1 dando grandes resultados. A esto se suma el nuevo estatuto tributario municipal que ofrece beneficios reales para que empresas e inversionistas le apuesten a Monter\u00eda. Todo ello forma parte del ecosistema que estamos construyendo para que la ciudad siga creciendo y se proyecte al mundo\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 el mandatario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El nuevo equipo, adquirido por la administraci\u00f3n municipal, est\u00e1 compuesto por pasillos de seguridad automatizados, lectores biom\u00e9tricos de iris, lectores de documentos de alta tecnolog\u00eda, estaciones de supervisi\u00f3n y un sistema integral de inspecci\u00f3n documental y verificaci\u00f3n de identidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta infraestructura, utilizada en los principales aeropuertos del pa\u00eds, permitir\u00e1 agilizar los procesos migratorios, incrementar la seguridad y ofrecer una experiencia m\u00e1s eficiente y c\u00f3moda para los viajeros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

El alcalde record\u00f3 que, desde el inicio de su administraci\u00f3n, una de las metas prioritarias fue lograr el primer vuelo internacional directo desde Monter\u00eda. \u201cDesde el principio nos dimos a la tarea de hacer las gestiones necesarias para lograr el primer vuelo internacional desde nuestra ciudad. La internacionalizaci\u00f3n del aeropuerto no es un discurso, es una meta concreta en la que estamos concentrados y en la que avanzamos con resultados\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kerguel\u00e9n recalc\u00f3 que este proceso ha sido posible gracias al trabajo articulado con entidades nacionales y regionales. \u201cEste ha sido un esfuerzo mancomunado con AirPlan, el Gobierno Nacional, Migraci\u00f3n Colombia, la DIAN, el ICA, la Polic\u00eda Nacional y el Gobierno Departamental. Cada instituci\u00f3n ha cumplido un rol fundamental para que hoy podamos decir que Monter\u00eda sigue avanzando hacia su primera ruta internacional\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asimismo, celebr\u00f3 que los cronogramas establecidos se est\u00e9n cumpliendo a cabalidad. \u201cEstamos muy contentos porque los tiempos y los compromisos establecidos se han cumplido. Hoy estamos entregando este equipo de Biomig con el que podemos brindarle a los pasajeros mayor comodidad, seguridad y eficiencia en los procesos migratorios del aeropuerto\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
