Monter\u00eda contin\u00faa avanzando en su posicionamiento como una ciudad comprometida con el desarrollo sostenible y la protecci\u00f3n de su entorno natural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La capital cordobesa se convirti\u00f3 oficialmente en la novena ciudad de Colombia en adherirse a la Red de Bioverciudades de la CAF, y en la n\u00famero 233 a nivel mundial, consolid\u00e1ndose como un referente en planificaci\u00f3n urbana basada en la biodiversidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este importante hito fue confirmado tras una reuni\u00f3n sostenida entre el alcalde de Monter\u00eda, Hugo Kerguel\u00e9n Garac\u00eda, y Sergio D\u00edaz-Granados, presidente ejecutivo de CAF \u2013 Banco de Desarrollo de Am\u00e9rica Latina, en la que se ratific\u00f3 el ingreso de Monter\u00eda a esta red global que promueve ciudades m\u00e1s verdes, resilientes e inclusivas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La adhesi\u00f3n a la Red de Bioverciudades permite a Monter\u00eda fortalecer su modelo de desarrollo urbano sostenible, acceder a cooperaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica, financiaci\u00f3n internacional y buenas pr\u00e1cticas aplicadas con \u00e9xito en otras ciudades del mundo, orientadas a la protecci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad, la adaptaci\u00f3n al cambio clim\u00e1tico y la mejora de la calidad de vida de sus habitantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
