Ante el incremento sostenido del nivel del r\u00edo Sin\u00fa y la proyecci\u00f3n de que contin\u00fae creciendo durante las pr\u00f3ximas 30 horas, el alcalde de Monter\u00eda, Hugo Kerguel\u00e9n Garc\u00eda, realiz\u00f3 un recorrido por varios sectores urbanos ubicados en la margen del r\u00edo (Zarabanda, Nuevo Milenio y Brisas del Sin\u00fa) para verificar las condiciones de las familias asentadas en zonas de riesgo y reiterar el llamado a la evacuaci\u00f3n preventiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la visita, el mandatario dialog\u00f3 con la comunidad y pidi\u00f3 actuar con responsabilidad para preservar la vida y la integridad de ni\u00f1os, adultos mayores y personas con condiciones de salud especiales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHoy estamos recorriendo las zonas que est\u00e1n a la orilla del r\u00edo porque la prioridad es proteger la vida. Los niveles van a seguir creciendo en las pr\u00f3ximas horas y no podemos esperar a que la situaci\u00f3n sea m\u00e1s cr\u00edtica. El llamado es a que evac\u00faen de manera preventiva, atiendan las recomendaciones de los organismos de socorro y prioricen su seguridad\u201d, expres\u00f3 el alcalde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El mandatario explic\u00f3 que el comportamiento del r\u00edo obliga a mantener activa la alerta y a fortalecer las acciones preventivas en coordinaci\u00f3n con la Oficina de Gesti\u00f3n Integral del R\u00edo y Atenci\u00f3n de Riesgos y Desastres, la Secretar\u00eda de Gobierno, la Secretar\u00eda de Salud y los organismos de socorro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTenemos equipos desplegados en territorio, estamos caracterizando a las familias y disponiendo albergues temporales para quienes lo necesiten. Lo m\u00e1s importante es evitar p\u00e9rdidas humanas\u201d, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atenci\u00f3n en la zona rural<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El alcalde Kerguel\u00e9n se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la administraci\u00f3n municipal mantiene presencia permanente en corregimientos y veredas afectadas por las lluvias, donde ya se adelantan caracterizaciones y acompa\u00f1amiento institucional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEn la zona rural estamos trabajando sin descanso. Nuestros equipos est\u00e1n en los corregimientos m\u00e1s afectados, evaluando da\u00f1os y coordinando maquinaria para atender v\u00edas y puntos cr\u00edticos. Monter\u00eda no est\u00e1 sola\u201d, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asimismo, indic\u00f3 que se mantiene la articulaci\u00f3n con entidades departamentales y nacionales para fortalecer la capacidad de respuesta ante cualquier eventualidad derivada del aumento del caudal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
