En el marco de la emergencia generada por el aumento del nivel del r\u00edo y las intensas lluvias registradas en los \u00faltimos d\u00edas, el alcalde de Monter\u00eda, Hugo Kerguel\u00e9n Garc\u00eda, lider\u00f3 una inspecci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica en el sector de El Floral, con el prop\u00f3sito de identificar soluciones inmediatas para el destaponamiento de canales y mitigar el riesgo de desbordamientos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante el recorrido, equipos de la Secretar\u00eda de Gobierno, la Oficina de Gesti\u00f3n Integral del R\u00edo y Atenci\u00f3n del Riesgo y Desastres, as\u00ed como personal operativo, evaluaron los puntos m\u00e1s cr\u00edticos donde se han presentado represamientos de agua que podr\u00edan generar afectaciones a las viviendas cercanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De manera articulada, la CVS realiza un chequeo topogr\u00e1fico en la zona para determinar con precisi\u00f3n los niveles actuales del agua, establecer la pendiente real del terreno y definir las intervenciones t\u00e9cnicas m\u00e1s adecuadas que permitan mejorar el flujo y evitar inundaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El mandatario explic\u00f3 que estas acciones hacen parte del plan integral que la Administraci\u00f3n Municipal viene ejecutando para proteger a las comunidades de la margen occidental y sectores vulnerables del casco urbano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEstamos en territorio, verificando punto por punto. No vamos a esperar a que el agua entre a las casas para actuar. Estamos tomando decisiones t\u00e9cnicas, con el acompa\u00f1amiento de la CVS, para destaponar los canales y garantizar que el agua pueda evacuar correctamente\u201d, expres\u00f3 el alcalde Hugo Kerguel\u00e9n Garc\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asimismo, indic\u00f3 que ya se encuentran dispuestas cuadrillas y maquinaria amarilla para intervenir de manera inmediata los puntos donde se identifiquen obstrucciones, acumulaci\u00f3n de sedimentos o residuos que impidan el flujo normal del agua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHoy m\u00e1s que nunca necesitamos trabajar bajo el principio de la prevenci\u00f3n.
