La Sociedad Colombiana de Pediatr\u00eda atendi\u00f3 el llamado de la Secretar\u00eda de Salud Municipal y dispuso de sus profesionales para desarrollar una brigada de atenci\u00f3n integral dirigida a ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as ubicados en el alojamiento temporal habilitado por la Alcald\u00eda de Monter\u00eda en la Instituci\u00f3n Educativa San Jos\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los pediatras, provenientes de diferentes regiones del departamento, llegaron para atender a la poblaci\u00f3n infantil, donde realizan una valoraci\u00f3n general del estado de cada menor y entregan medicamentos gratuitos de acuerdo con la prescripci\u00f3n del m\u00e9dico tratante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEn este d\u00eda estamos sum\u00e1ndonos como Regional C\u00f3rdoba, haciendo presencia con la brigada de salud para nuestros ni\u00f1os damnificados por la emergencia que estamos atravesando. Ser\u00e1n revisados de forma personalizada por el equipo de pediatr\u00eda, nutrici\u00f3n, psicolog\u00eda y trabajo social\u201d, explic\u00f3 Gladys Mar\u00eda Cuartas Pe\u00f1a, pediatra y presidenta de la Sociedad Colombiana de Pediatr\u00eda Regional C\u00f3rdoba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Profesionales en nutrici\u00f3n y psicolog\u00eda tambi\u00e9n hacen parte de la jornada, que busca identificar patolog\u00edas, prevenir riesgos y atender de manera oportuna a la poblaci\u00f3n infantil, que se encuentra entre las m\u00e1s vulnerables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Sociedad Colombiana de Pediatr\u00eda tambi\u00e9n don\u00f3 ropa interior para ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as, y acompa\u00f1a a las personas mayores que requieren atenci\u00f3n psicosocial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEl aumento de enfermedades virales posterior a situaciones de emergencia por inundaciones, como las que vivimos en Monter\u00eda y el departamento, requiere atenci\u00f3n oportuna, y es lo que hemos estado haciendo en alianza con los prestadores y profesionales de la salud que han atendido el llamado que realizamos desde la Secretar\u00eda de Salud\u201d, expres\u00f3 Lorena Portillo, titular de la cartera de Salud en Monter\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde la Alcald\u00eda de Monter\u00eda se contin\u00faan articulando esfuerzos con EPS e IPS, as\u00ed como con la ESE Vidasin\u00fa, para llegar con atenci\u00f3n a las poblaciones vulnerables.
